I've bought two 8K houred tractors. One cost me an arm and a leg to get right; the other is one of the best tractors I've ever owned.
It all depends on the last guy that owned it.
At 8K hours, it "should have" been completely gone thru by now. If not, you are probably looking at an easy $20K worth of future repair bills. :>(
Pull the oil dipstick after it's sit overnight. Make sure there is no indication of anti-freeze in the pan. Also, that front end is undoubtably gonna need rebuilding since it's been under the loader.
