Hi AJ, the 354 is the grandson of the British made B414 and for the draft control lever keep it fully forward unless you are using a plow or cultivator or other in ground implement. To use the draft control with a plow, start the plow in the ground and drive forward slowly, push the raise/lower all the way forward and adjust the draft control lever to set the proper plowing depth, now go at normal pulling speed and you may have to fine tune the draft control lever as soil condition change. Only use the raise/lower lever to lift and lower the plow at the end of the field.
