Reminds me of the days when I first got to be a part of the crew at 7 years old. We had two binders, one for binding and the other being fixed. Horses pulled them. In the late summer we were on the thrashers calendar and each farm had to send several men to work the day . Ate like a pig because you got so hungry. When we got our first tractor the horses were taken to the field in case the tractor had a problem All this only 70 years ago Henry
