They are shown on the diagram (prior post) as 1 and 2 on the alternator. #2 goes to the big post on the alt. #1 goes to either a oilpressure activated closed on pressure switch, or a seperate switch that can be turned on to make it charge, and turned off when shutting down. The switch you have for the Mag is actually for a distributor type ignition. It is wired in the only way it can be, but it will work backwards. The correct switch will have only one terminal, and the switch body is grounded. It is ground when pushed in. The one you have is connected when out, and one side of it is now connected to ground, the other to the mag grounding terminal. Thus off is when out. JimN
