The cable to the rockshaft drive unit will take many calls to many tractor yards I believe. I think this cable was unique to the 240. On one of my 240's, I gave up and just by-passed the whole tele-depth with an auxilary control valve. If you're not plowing with yours, that will work just fine. Do you have the old or broken lateral swing shaft or lateral swing limiter (which one broke?)? If so, any good welder can fix or remake these parts. I've built several from scratch over the years. This is a really weak system on the 240s and failure is common. Consequently, junk parts are hard to come by. Bellcrank failure is also common and I finally figured out how to fabricate one of those, but it is quite a job of cut and paste. When you get it back together, I strongly suggest you use crossing chains to limit swing and take the load off the swing assembly or it will continue to fail.
