I have both a Farmall H and M. The first thing you want to look at is what will you be using the tractor for, and how easy can you get implements. The implements that IH made will fit both H and M. such as cornpickers, corn culivatiors,and plows. My advice would to buy both tractors. Or if your looking for power I would do what my grandpa did. Buy the M and put M&W dome Pistions in and convert it to 12 volt. You will have the same if not more power than a Super M
