I had that same thing happen to my H when I was harrowing last spring. I took the cover off under the clutch and was able to see up inside. There is a shaft inside of that little area behind the bellhousing, that turns kind of like a drive shaft in your truck. There are, if my memory serves me correctly, 4 bolts up there on that shaft that hold it together. All of mine were loose. I tightened them down good and tight, and the noise has not come back since. Boy I sure was scared, but it has held together for over a year using it every day for at least an hour or 3, sometimes all day long! Good luck!
