There very easy to remove. But first you must put some wood wedges under the radiator so that the tractor will not pivot at that point.
This is a offset tractor so have lots of blocks , jack stands etc .
There is i think 6 bolts around the axle tube that remove it, the fenders will come off at this time.
The left side has the short axle so it comes off easy , dont forget to disconnect the arm that goes to the brake band.
Do one side at a time and watch how you pull the brake band off, it's easy to put them in upside down then you can't adjust the brakes.
The right side will have 2ft of axle sticking out of it when you pull it off, it won't hall off. While you have the bull gears off change the oil in the lower pans. [90 weight gear oil] You just pull the pipe plug to fill them to that level, about 1 quart per side.
This really a easy job as long as you do one side at a time because there is a right and left side brake toggle.
Just be very careful on how you support the tractor, the offset weight is a pain. Put the wood wedges up front to keep the tractor from tipping on the axle pivit.
P.M me if you have any questions or i will return your call and talk you threw it.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”.
