relaurain: I've heard dozens of farmers report 6 gph on those 6 cylinder gassers. I had two 282 diesels, one of them cranking 90 hp and one had to work it awfully hard to burn 2 gph. The other one cranking 65 hp would run at 1 gph, on a 9' haybine. The gassers won't hold a candle to those 282 diesels on steady power either. You folks would be well advised to talk with a few farmers that used these, and put your books on the shelf.
