I have a JD 630LP that I fill from a small 5gal tank. Found out that the new bottles w/the triangle type handle will not work. They have a different valve in them. Look for the old type handle. Have a hose made to fit both the bottle and the tractor, open the valve and turn the bottle upside down on the hood of the tractor. This is the way I do it. The liquid will drain out of the bottle and leave the vapor in the bottle. Its a lot of work and dont get in a hurry, usually takes me over night to get the liquid into the tractor tank. A LP dealer should make up a transfer hose for you with the cost of materials. HTH
