The '39 F-20, if still equipped with the correct wheels, could have several wheel spacings. First, the F-20 was manufactured in both the wide and narrow tread versions. This means the cast axle housings of the rearend were two different widths. Second, the '39 was originally equipped with split rim wheels with cast, dome shaped, centers. The rims had two ribs on them to choose from to attach the cast centers to and the cast centers could be turned "dish-in" or "dish-out" depending on width desired. The bottom line is this, if the tractor is equipped with the correct wheels for the model year you should be able to adjust the rear wheel spacing enough to get it on the trailer. hope this helps.
