You never know sometimes even after you look. Sever al years ago the front transmission shaft pilot bearing went out on my Super M and ball went through several gears knocking small chips out. I decided to just replace bearing and take a chance on it running but when I started it up there was loud knock in transmission so it has set in shed for severasl years. A guy that worked for my Dad and drove the Super M for years back when it was fairly new had been wanting it for some time so I finaly told him he could come get it. Last Monday he came and we had tractor running and knocking in few minutes. Guy who got tractor is pretty good mechanic and he decided that knock was not going to do any more harm than was already done so he drove tractor about 7 miles home. To get to point of my tale I follewed him in my truck and about half way home we stopped on gravel road and he said when we went around sharp curve that tractor quit knocking and sure enough it sounded just like Super M should
