The nail in the coffin for the fast hitch was not selling the idea to john deere. Deere thought the fast hitch was the best system for under 100 horsepower and asked to buy it from IH, they refused and john deere went to the 3 point system. You couldn't ask for a better loader tractor, joystick for the loader and a fast hitch on the back. The best is when you can back up to something drop a hitch pin in with a rope and drive away without getting off the tractor.
