Hi Jason, they have a slow start position. From the OFF position of the lever there is a short slot, then a long slot to the ON position, the short slot is release the PTO brake to align PTO shaft with implement shaft and slow start. Only works if PTO lever is adjusted correctly. Sometimes the control cable from the lever down to the PTO valve on the MCV under your left foot will become rusty and will not operate properly. Work lever ON & OFF while lubing cable with your favorite penetrating oil.
