Anyhow back to your 130 steering. Does the steering wheel shaft have any end to end movement? If it's tight, I wouldn't worry about the bearings. If it's loose, you'll have to remove the shaft and replace the bearings.
My experience with these is most free travel is caused by the two woodruff keys on the vertical shaft in steering box. There is a woodruff key on the tapered section outside bottom of box that keys steering control arm to shaft. Inside the box the half gear is keyed to shaft with a woodruff key. Those two keys if loose enough can give you 1-1/2 turns of free travel on steering wheel. The cure, often times the keyways have to be machined larger and use larger keys.
