A scrapper called me today, said he had a 1945 M he was scrapping, so I told him Ill take it. He had disassembled it mostly, but everything but the hood and grille was in excellent condition. Engine is stuck, but the block is not busted, has a 9 speed transmission. paid $300 for it all. I figured,, since its all torn apart, good time to restore it. It has a steel gearshift knob,,,,, I think its steel,,, never seen one like that,, It had a 12 volt conversion done to it,,, and it has a weird generator and a bracket thats not home made,,, I have a good spare M engine Im gonna drop in it, so shouldnt be much to get it back on its tires and running!!
