I live in the high desert plains of Colorado, East of Colorado Springs. I watch my neighbors on their little riding mowers. (I'll bet they've spent more money on their little mowers than I spent on my M! $3k or $4k!) There is always a cloud of dust behind them, and I think "Well, there goes what little top soil they have." Same goes for brush hogs. What a dusty operation here! So, I have been considering a sickle bar mower. I never even thought of a flail mower. How much dust would that kick up? I want to keep my precious top soil where it is.
