At least in theory, the B series tractors are a bit unbalanced. Your butt is sitting over the right wheel. Bringing in the left wheel should balance out the traction.
Hugh always says that the As had the best traction to weight ratio of any letter-series Farmall, even if only slightly better than a B/BN. Pulling is a game of inches and tens of pounds.
i could be wrong but i think he wants the short side off a A which is the left side correct? the way i see it he is wanting a A with narrow front end thats the way i take it anyway :roll:
