John: The Super C engine will be 3-4 more hp, and most of that will be added rpm. The L code on hydraulic unit would indicate 1966, so it must have come from a 140. Someone obviously built a tractor from components.
Are you sure the sheet metal is Farmall 100? Have you looked in the YT IH photo gallery? Click on Farmall at top of this page, then click on photo gallery. From there you can type in Farmall 100, and it will give you a list of 100s to view. If something doesn't look right you can check other models. Remember Farmalls 100 and 130 have the same sheet metal, 100 is all red and 130 has white grill and white band on side of hood behind FARMALL.
