And, how many beers did you have? I find most people disappointed with taking an A or Cub with a belly mower and thinking it will act like a brush-hog. I do believe that most belly mounted mowers are finishing mowers and not of the strength or power to accomplish what you did on the Ford. Do they say, "Apples to apples"? Maybe, that is the problem and the suggestion of powering up with a "red" tractor would be more to your satisfaction!
