The best way to stop an M is to use the brakes. If you use the grill, the stop is usually abrupt, and ruins the grill, and possibly other parts as well. Some folks from some parts of the country refer to that as a crash. Others refer to it as a wreck. Either way, brakes are a much smarter method, and endorsed by the manufacturer as the preferred method of bringing an M to a halt.
