Like posted below it vary well could be the tiny little pin that hold the two halfs of the valve together to make one long valve assy. When ya first look at it ya thing that it comes out the top , nope it comes out the bottom of the PTO unit . Sometimes ya can just drop it stright out and sometimes not and you will need to remove the drawbar support . The only place to get this tiny little pin is Case I H . Now when ya remove the nut off the top of the valve ya will loose the setting for the lock up pressure and to reset ya have to have the test fitting to go into the test port and a hyd. pressure gauge that can read atleast 600 lbs. The lock up pressure must be set at operating temp of the hdy oil. Around 140 -180 .and ya also have to have the engine speed at rated PTO speed for this set up. . The pressure is set by screwing the nut that the linkage hooks to down on to the threads . There is a small hole in the valve stem just below the threads that ya stick a stiff wire - drill bit - or a scribe in the hole and turn it into the nut.with the PTO ingauged . Pressure should be 245 - 260 . I know this is not what the book says BUT trust me on this you will NEVER slip it thru the clutches at that setting .
