I would Look at no more than 600$ The A never had any hydraulic system, so unless the engine has been replaced with one from a Super A, or other suitable donor (a good thing), the Hydraulics will not be Live, they will only work with the clutch engaged. This makes some tasks difficult. If you like working on machines, then do it, but it is a mediocre place to start. For much less than the cost involved to fix a trans, and make it reliable, you could get a 200, 230, 240, or 340U, or 300 Farmall and have a much more usable tractor. In the 2000-2500 range. JimN
