Yea. As he may have a wore out PTO input shaft and if that goes then there is no go if the low side of the t/a is out . With the tractor running check and see if ya have the three point working and the PTO . IF not then ya need to split it and replace the clutch and PTO input along with the PTO input bearing and all the seals and O/Rings. If that is not it then ya have aproblem in the MCV valve or the MCV pump went south .
