Don,
At one time IH had two plants in Britain. One in Doncaster built the bigger tractors like the British M and the B614, while the plant in Bradford built the smaller tractors like your B414. The Bradford tractors started with the B250 in the mid 1950's. The next two models the B275 & B414 were imported to the US in the late fifties and early sixties. In the mid-sixties to early seventies the B414 bare chassis were sent to the US and fitted with US designed front axle, steering, electricals etc... and marketed as the 424 & 444. From the mid seventies until the Case-IH merger complete tractors were shipped to the US again and sold as the 354, 364 & 384. Sometime during this run the Bradford plant was closed and all production moved to Doncaster.
