I have a deluxe seat on my 1957 IH 350U. I don't want a foam replacement seat. I want the original which has a metal frame, plywood bottom, 3 pairs of horizontal springs which are covered with a small foam pad and then the black fabric. I have the metal frame and have replaced the plywood bottom but I'm having trouble finding the springs that attach to the left and right sides of the frame and arch slightly. Does anyone know where I could get some or how I might make them??? The ones that are broke are curled up like the letter "C" and are VERY hard to try to bend (how do I know, cause I tried it and almost put a big slice in one of my fingers, so I recommend not trying to bend them by hand!). What kind of metal did they use? Thanks .....
