the lift on my 574 d "hic-ups" when under load. i have changed hyd oil and filter...no change. it does this worse when the oil gets hot. according to the repair manual it could be a scored cylinder or ring problem, a cylinder cushion valve leaking, or a drop poppet issue. cushion valve is under the seat in the top cover. i have a dimantled 648 in my shop that i was "exploring" before i take the 574 apart, and the cushion valve does not come right out. it appears to be in a threaded bore but will only turn about 1 full turn. is there a procedure i am not doing or do i need special tools? the repair manual does not say. any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jonathan
