Which wire goes where ? Gas IH 574, trying to attach wires to the Delco starter/soleniod and forgot which one goes where? Can someone help ME ?
If one of the small wires has two wires in the terminal, that one goes on the I stud on the solenoid. The single wire goes to the S stud.
If both wires are single wires in the terminals, turn the ignition switch on and the wire that has power goes to the I stud and the other one to the S stud.
If you have three wires, one will have power only when in the start position. put that wire on the S stud and the other two on the I stud.
