Been having clutch problems on my 460 for a period of time that includes two clutches and 3 splits. Bent the disk in the first one due to stupidity. It isn't the clutch. The clutch fork and/or the attaching ends on the sleeve are worn. I knew that, but today I found out that about 1/32-1/16 inch "negligible" slop would add an inch to the pedal free travel, thus it does not disengage. Surprisingly Case IH still has them, BUT $350 for the fork and $92 for the sleeve. Has anyone tried rebuilding those, or having them rebuilt? I wonder if I could use speedi sleeves or something over the sleeve ends. The shaft is also worn, those can be made new for what it costs to repair them. Any comments are appreciated.
