Jim: As I see it, 330 has to be same as 140, 240 and 340, crankcase fill is on top of governor. I looked at a few photos in gallery this morning, not many 330 photos at proper angle to see oil fill cap.
The reason I questioned your answer is all 300 and 350 have fill cap in same place, however it's not on top of governor, but rather just an enlarged timing gear cover to accomodate fill cap. Those use a large cast wing nut type cover, about 2.5" maybe 3" diameter.
Governor on 300 and 350 are same as IH used for years on H, M, SH, SM, 300, 400, etc., and is on left side of the engine.
