i got started tearing down my sm when i bought it i saw the m&w governor.but nobody knew anything about the tractor the engine was stuck,in the teardown i found 4 1/8 m&w pistons and an m&w crank.all in excellent condition!! i have never seen a cleaner motor[inside].anyways i got the stuck piston out using the pto and a pipe wrench and a 5 ft pipe,piston had carbon/alum corrosion on the top ring.seems i finally got a cream puff with lots of desireable goodies rather than the piece of sh%% that i usually get!!
