Bob: Can you find any other part numbers from either the frog, moldboard, landside or point-share. I've looked through about a dozen different General Purpose bottoms, and I don't find either number you gave General Purpose or GP bottoms came before Plow Chief and Super Chief, however there were plows sold with GP bottoms after that. I might add only one of those GP bottoms had separate shin, and it was deep tillage, never would have been used on a small plow.
I suspect your plow is a 194, and it's shown in one of my books with Plow Chief bottoms. The other single bottom 1 point fast hitch plow, and I don't have the number, would have a trip beam and likely be equipped with Super Chief bottoms. Plow Chief and Super Chief bottoms both have separate shins. It wouldn't be ACE bottom as they don't have separate shin.
Given the time frame when those fast hitch plows were built, unless it was special order for GP bottoms, the factory would have installed either Plow Chief or Super Chief. The problem for me on Plow Chief and Super Chief numbers, after 1960 plow bottoms got listed in a separate book from plows, and I don't have that book.
