Sounds like it's worn out to me. You can replace the clutch and pressure plate through the bottom of the torque tube after removing the liftall belly pump and reservoir. Some people will tell you that you need to split it and resurface the flywheel, which I suppose would be worthwhile if you were going to work the blank out of that tractor, but for just playing around...
The hardest thing about removing the clutch is getting the shaft out. There's a lot of wiggling and twisting because the fit is very tight, and it has to be just so to come out. But, you don't need to tear the tractor completely apart to do the work, which is a big plus.
