Believe it or not, Mighty Putty is working for us on a large hole in the Super C manifold. I cleaned up around the hole with a wire wheel, and we kneaded up an entire tube of the stuff and made a patch.
It probably won't hold up to a lot of rough handling or heavy work, but it's saving us the $150 on a new manifold as long as the tractor is a shed queen.
