Do you know what it had? I've never tried to find out the hard way, but if that was a non-detergent [check around in straight weight 30, you'll likely find some labeled as such], supposedly using 'modern' oil can exagerate leaks.
So, give it what it knows; if you don't know, I'd give it some non-det 30. Since I have a few that don't get touched for several months, I've thought about synthetic [thinking it may have a better long term film and winter better], but never tried that either.
