I just rebuilt a SH and 2 of 4 sleeves were a medium slip fit (hand pressure only). I used Loctite 640. It is made specifically for high strength, high temp. sleeve retaining applications. I recommend using it without the primer. The primer only accelerates the cure, it does not improve the bond. I used it with the primer on a 95 degree day and it almost set up before I got the sleeve seated. I just used brake cleaner on the second one and it went quite well.
