Will add that the last time I priced a new distributor shaft from IH the price was sky high. You can tell which shaft you have by removing breaker point support plate, weights and springs, then you should find a number stamped on weight mount part of shaft like L22 or L40. 22 indicates 22 total crankshaft degrees advance or 40 would be 40. Could be another number if distributor was switched from something else. Most well used distributors have the total advance hole worn where the point cam goes in hole so that total is going to be more than indicated though.
