We have got a few of these on on a Farmall M, one on a John Deere B unstyled and one on a WD45 Allis. We use both types of belts on these Leather and rubber. Yes the leather is nicer if you are going to work it more but the rubber is cheaper. Just go down to your local Farm Store and pick one up 4 inch is fine don't need a 6 or 8 it is just kind of a waste. I have some Alligator lacing that I would sell some to you to put these together. Alligator lacing is a no special to tool lace just need a hammer. Be careful with these they are VERY dangorous 40 horsepower dosen't know you body or a log. I had a belt break and hit me at a demo at a tractor show for our local club. Lacing split and hit me in the shoulder and arm about 6 inches away from my head bad deal but I lived and finshed the demo that week. Hurt like h**l though but I got over it. Watch for nails and boards kicking out that can be pretty nasty. If you are careful and know what your doing they are great. Happy Cutting.
