I took of my oil pan to clean out the sludge but all the bolts were the same length. Arent 4 of them suspose to be longer? I thought I remember reading that the 2 in front and 2 in back were suspose to be slightly longer. I tried to search but all I found was a thread about an H.
Does anybody know what length the longer ones are suspose to be?
I assume all the bolts get a lock washer? A couple seemed to have them but most appeared missing although they could be under the scum somewhere.
What do I torque the bolts to? Again I searched but all I found was a H thread and they said 33 foot pounds, I just want to make sure that sounds right.
Anything else I should be looking at while I am in there? Oil pump screen is spotless and it has good pressure so I believe that is all good.
