After reading your post several times with a couple of huh? thrown in, let me see if this is what you"re saying. You are saying that the higher torque (rotational leverage)is producing more weight (down force) on the rear wheels similar to putting two cement blocks in the trunk. Correct? You may be very slightly correct. BUT, you would need to more precisely qualify your example, ie are you talking about sliding around a curve or initial movement from a standstill. Even tho there might be a slight truth in your theory, it is more than likely that the higher gear is simply reducing the engine torque to power ratio thus it is taking longer to break the surface contact friction (spinning the wheels)in a standing start situation.
