diesel engine help?

I have a 674 diesel tractor that I have gone over and redone all apparent problems. I did not mess with the engine because it runs fine and has plenty of power. But now that I have it back together and running, I am getting a fair amount of oil blowing up out through the exhaust. Does anyone know what might be causing this? The only things I can think of are either the head gasket is leaking through from one of the oil ports or the probable cause of oil blowing by the rings. Any other thoughts? Thanks much.
