3 possible: The needle is stuck from rust (replace it) The shunt in the meter is broken/melted. Nothing works tha is connected to the gauge. Replace it. If it is a Remote shunt meter (light 14 ga wires connecting it) the shunt might be good, but the meter wires have an open. repair wires. If these do not help, check the connection at the starter relay. JimN
