Bill, the serial numbers listed in your serial number book are the first serial number for each year. The tractor does not have to have the exact number listed in the book.
Example: If the first serial number for the year 1951 is 12345, and the first number for the year 1952 is 23456.
Our example tractor's serial number is 15432. It's between 12345 and 23456, which means it was built in 1951.
Going by the serial number list on the left panel of this website, this C that you're looking at is a 1950. Because it's fairly close to the first number for 1951, it was probably built late in 1950.
