My brother-in-law had a 1490 Case that my son used in hay field to cut hay and roll hay with. It was a good tractor except that the cooling system was marginal. We are in Texas, and hot summers, when the radiator would get a little chaf or lint in front of a/c condensing coil it would want to start to run hot, had to have compressed air or water hose close by to wash out cooling fins, other than that a very good tractor. Others farmers here had same problem.
