DTK, You say you "want to convert mine and restore it". I think that is what is called an oxymoron; you can"t convert it and then ever call it restored. I have a rope trip #8 and love to plow with it that way. Of course I"m getting long in the teeth when I admit I never pulled a hydraulic plow when I was a kid as they weren"t invented yet. Those old rope trip plows are neat to watch at plow days, and it"s fun to watch one that is properly set up to plow correctly and go up and down properly. Converted it can be, but it will then never be restored. If I can be of any help to you with adjustments on that rope trip ol" girl I will try to do so.
