I acquired another "M" with a WFE and 3-point about 2 months ago. After installing new tires, carb kit, fuel tank overhaul, points, plugs and wires, rewired 12 volt generator charging system, 2 Farmall lites on the rear fenders, and changing all fluids, I checked the compression of the engine. It was 110 PSIG. The tractor runs fine and we will use the tractor for general farm chores and some tillage. I was going to completely overhaul the engine but the compression test stopped me. Because of all the infinite wisdom of this forum, should I tear the engine apart and do a $800-900 overhaul or just run the tractor until it requires an overhaul. This is not or never will be my main farming tractor. My son likes driving the new A/C stereo with cab models. I can not say that I blame him. Thanks for your opinions. Ray
