Idaho Ron is right on with everything. The conversion he shows in the pic is probably your best bet, but I don't know if you can buy them new, and used ones are hard to find and not cheap. If you just go with the inserts make sure they point up or you will be sorely disappointed since you won't be able to lift the implement very high. As far as whether you need inserts that widen out as well that depends on the implement. Not positive but I think the width depends on whether it is Cat 1 or 2. Not sure you need Cat 3 for a 706, but everything depends on what implements you get. Sorry to say but 2 to 3 pt converters are marginal at best. Get the one in the pic if you can find one.
