Best way is to first go purchase a new 2 inch pipe, 12 inches long and have it threaded. Then use a sawsall and cut off the old pipe 1/4 inch above the manifold. Use a magnet to get the filings out. Stuff a shop towel way down in there. Now use the sawsall vertically and cut just barely through the pipe. Tap it out. Takes about 10 minutes. Now is the time to rethread the manifold, 2"NPT. Remove the towel, apply the never seize and install new pipe. Good to go for another 50 years.
