None of the cabs from that era are particularly "all weather" or "user friendly." You need to be a bit of an acrobat to get in and out. They're loud and leaky even with good interiors and weatherstripping. But, they're better than nothing.
I suspect your next question will be, "Well, can I put a more modern cab on my 706?" The answer to that is no. There is no such thing as a more modern cab. See, by the time tight, comfortable, quiet cabs came along, they were integral parts of the tractors. No aftermarket ever developed for older tractors, because the idea was if you wanted a good cab, you bought a newer tractor. The cab and operator's platform were one unit, unlike the 706 era where a cab was a box that fit over the existing operator's platform. The operator's platform was moved forward on the tractor for a better view, and the fuel tank was moved behind the operator.
While a crafty fabricator could probably fit one of these newer cabs to a 706 with a LOT of work, I suspect you want something to plow snow and/or feed animals with NOW, not 3-4 years down the line.
Your best bets are Hiniker or Year-A-Round cabs. These are aftermarket "universal" cabs that were pretty good for the time. You ought to be able to find a cab in a salvage yard, and they periodically come up for sale. If you can find one with all the windows and interior intact, that would be the one to snatch. The padding and upholstery will soak up a lot of the noise.
Weatherstripping is easy to replace. If you need to put in windows, make sure you use heavy tempered glass so that if it breaks, it shatters into tiny pieces instead of large artery-slicing knives.
