I have a copy of the instructions that came with the seal/gasket set. They aren't much, and have no info that isn't contained in the Serviceman's Handbook GSS-1054 that I got from binderbooks. The GSS-1024 has an exploded view of the hydraulic block, tha same one that is in the I&T shop manual, but on neither is there an item labeled "Pressure Control Bushing" so I'm not exactly sure to what piece you're referring, but on mine, ('49 Super-A) there was no bushing held in place by any set screw.
I'll be glad to post, e-mail, or fax, so let me know. I took a lot of pictures when I overhauled mine.
